Rebecca has been a Licensed Aesthetician for 17 years and has lived in the Kiawah area for 9 and a half years. Upon graduating from the University of Hawaii in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology, Rebecca went to Manhattan to pursue a career in sales and discovered her passion for all things skincare and beauty-related may actually be the career path she never imagined. Growing up as a “product junkie”, she was always interested in the ingredients and how/why they worked. After working on the sales and marketing side of the skincare industry for a few years, she found her way to San Francisco and attended the San Francisco Institute of Cosmetology & Aesthetics. She loved it and was hooked. Rebecca worked for several high-end spas in the Bay Area before moving back east to start a career in the Medical Aesthetics world. She launched two Medical Spas for plastic surgeons in PA and SC before acquiring and expanding The Medical Spa at Kiawah in 2017 at its current location. Rebecca specializes in customized facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, HydraFacials and medical grade/clinical skincare. She likes to spend time with her clients to discuss what treatment options would be effective based on their skin concerns and creates a customized individual treatment plan. She will also make recommendations for continued skin care regimens at home as this is an important part of achieving healthy skin and loving the skin you’re in!

Sarah is our Client Concierge at The Med Spa. She graduated from The Culinary Institute of Charleston in 2012 with a focus on Hospitality Management. After managing several restaurants and salons for over a decade, she entered the field of medical aesthetics when The Medical Spa at Kiawah relocated to its current location at 1 Beachwalker Drive. With strong organizational and communication skills, Sarah keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently. She is always looking for new and innovative ways to continue elevating The Med Spa and making sure our clients receive the best experience possible. Sarah's experience allows her to be creative in problem-solving and help maintain client expectations while also prioritizing excellent customer service. She enjoys learning about skincare and helping our clients create a custom skincare routine that works for their individual needs. In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling and operates a sustainable clothing company.

Licensed Massage Therapist
Alyssa was born in upstate New York and moved to Charleston 41 years ago. She has 3 children and has been married for 17 years to her best friend. She was a medical assistant for many years prior to going to massage therapy school. Alyssa graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage in 2007. She has worked at a chiropractic office for the last 12 years and is still there one day a week. She has lived on Johns Island her entire life residing in SC and watched her little island become the place everyone wants to live! Alyssa is certified in many modalities, however her passion has always been finding problems and fixing them.
KATEY AMOS
LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Katey has been a massage therapist for 6 years now. She grew up on Johns Island and could not imagine living anywhere else besides Charleston. She specializes in medical massage and loves working on problem areas. However, she do relaxing Swedish massages as well. Her goal is always to fit my clients needs and leave them better than when they came in. Give your body a little love that is very well deserved!

Ali is a Charleston native and has been a Licensed Aesthetician for fifteen years. She has a passion for skincare with a huge focus on full-body waxing. She specializes in relaxing and results-driven facials, organic spray tans and waxing all genders of every body type. Ali is also a fully trained and certified Microblading Specialist and wants to give you your best brows ever! As an animal rights activist, her skincare products and wax are all cruelty free.
Katherine pearce
Licensed Acupuncturist
Katherine is a nationally licensed acupuncturist with a Masters Degree in Chinese Medicine. She has been practicing in California, London and Wales for the last 22 years. Katherine has had a full-time practice and has given thousands of treatments to patients with widely varying conditions.
She worked for 12 years with a physician specializing in integrative health for patients with chronic or complex conditions who wanted a more holistic approach to their medical concerns. She also worked as part of a hospital cancer support team for 4 years. She has undertaken in depth studies on the influences of the mind and the stress response on the body.
She says acupuncture is a wonderfully relaxing way to reduce pain, aid sleep and reverse the effects of stress, which all adds up to it being a preventative health care medicine that improves patient well-being.

Natalia Jackson is an advanced Microblading and Permanent Makeup Specialist in the Charleston area. She is committed to providing excellent service to her patients seeking a custom, semi-permanent makeup procedure whether it be Microblading or Ombre eyebrows, Eyelash Enhancements or the new trending Lip Blush!. She is a certified Microblading Specialist with advance training in Ombre and Powder Brows, and 2x certified Permanent Makeup Artists in Eyeliner and Lips.
This last year she also became certified in Paramedical Tattooing. Where she can now help those who with Areola 3D Nipple Restoration, and Scar Camouflaging. While also completing certification in Nano Brows, the newest technique for longer lasting eyebrows! Natalia takes pride in keeping up with the latest techniques in the industry and has taken courses in advanced training by some of the top professionals in both Atlanta and Miami.
Natalia looked into having her own eyebrows done after many years of drawing them on. Once she realized how having eyebrows made her feel complete, she made up her mind to helps other. She has trained and learned from the best professionals in the industry! Her love and passion led her to join Academy of Advanced Cosmetics as a Brand Ambassador and Trainer for the past year and a half before offering private training in Charleston.
