After a skin analysis, each facial is custom-tailored to your needs and skin type. Treatments may include deep cleansing, extractions, exfoliation, peels and masques. The Medical Spa at Kiawah recommends this treatment as a first step for all new clients.

Body & Wellness

  • We take pride in using excellent quality wax and providing a less painful experience than you will find anywhere else.  We offer both hard wax and strip wax options, depending on the area being waxed.

  • Each treatment is customized to you and your unique needs and concerns.

    Acupuncture is a painless procedure utilizing the gentle placement of very fine single use needles. When everything is in place you will be left to relax in serene surroundings for 20-25 mins to enable the treatment to take its full affect. I usually conclude the treatment with a light massage leaving you refreshed and deeply relaxed.


    After your session it’s best to take it easy for a few hours to allow your body to fully process the effect of the treatment. It has a cumulative effect, each treatment building upon the last and moving you towards better health in both mind and body

  • Spray tanning allows you to achieve a bronze glow all year round without the health risks of tanning beds. The process is simple. A thin mist is sprayed onto the desired areas of skin, and the skin turns a natural-looking shade of tan (never orange). We use a portable tanning airbrush, which provides a high level of control and consistency. You won't have streaks or dreaded tan lines, and we use an organic spray tanning solution
    Before Your Tanning Session:


    Must Do!
    · Before you set foot in the Med Spa, take a shower
    · Exfoliate your skin with a scrub or exfoliant
    · Shave
    · Do threading and waxing
    ·  All of this primes your skin, so that the skin cells have the appropriate reaction to the chemicals in the tanning solution.


    Don't Do!
    · After your shower, don't apply any unnecessary moisturizers or products to your skin.
    · Lotions, makeup, and perfume can create a barrier between the skin and the tanning solution. It's best to arrive to your tanning session freshly scrubbed and exfoliated.

  • Vitamin B12 injections, also known as cobalamin, is essential for many roles in your body. Its main function is to help cells form and metabolize properly. It also plays a role in brain function, supporting neurons and cell formation. It is necessary for DNA synthesis and red blood cell formation. 

    Our popular Lipo-B12 injection will help keep your energy up while losing inches simultaneously. It is comprised of Methionine, Inositol & Choline. This lipotropic compound helps trigger the breakdown of fat during metabolism in the body. The effect is to help lose weight and reduce fat mass. Vitamin B12 is also added for increased energy. It is important to get Vitamin B12 through an injection because it is absorbed better into the body and utilized better than taken orally.

  • Ear Candling is a safe, effective, and painless procedure used to remove earwax, pollen, sinus congestion, ringing of the ears, ear infection, headaches, migraines, and hearing problems. The movement of smoke through the delicate ear canal may also obtain pressure relief.
    What To Expect During An Ear Candling Session:
    Your therapist will instruct you to lie on your Side with your body using a straight alignment.  The therapist will gently insert a hollow linen candle into the ear canal, lighting the opposite end. We use only the highest quality beeswax candles, typically nine to twelve inches long. The candle creates a vacuum that draws built-up earwax and fungus into the bottom part of the candle. After extinguishing the candle, the therapist will cut open the remnant and show you the contents. Most people cannot believe the remaining contents extracted from the ear canal. If you have a hearing loss, you may feel a little heat during your session. Many people have reported an improvement in their hearing after just one session. The entire process takes about 30 minutes.
